Meet Miriam Jordi, a passionate sheet metal worker from Alberta and advocate for Women in Trades. She created the 'Alberta Women in Trades' Facebook Group, a network that offers opportunities for support, mentorship and exchange among craftswomen in the province. Miriam Jordi also serves as a board member on the Alberta Board of Skilled Trades. Today, she tells us about her efforts and successes to make construction sites a more inclusive place and how her Swiss heritage played into her choosing a career in trade.
